Since I am hours away from the start of classes, I shall blog about my second to the last sembreak.
I was so excited when the sembreak started! there's just so many plans in lined and not only that...i have THE much needed space from schoolworks and STRESS.
happy/game face! |
First off is the Seoul Garden resto in SM North Annex. I blogged about it here. And then I learned to cook some pampamilya dishes. And i also blogged about it here. Sembreak would have been so perfect if it wasn't only for the stupid flu, which i also blogged here (coupled with talks about maturity).

UNDAS this year is very different from the past, because it is our first time to have our 'own' puntod to visit and stay with for the rest of the day. This was also my first Undas with the Mercados. I usually go to Paltao with my mother's side cousins and relatives.
Ina's magic to bind us extended even up to her grave. I am so happy that we were together that day to visit and pray for Ina's soul. Though we're not complete, at least most of the ones here in the Philippines put effort to make my lola's puntod look special. I miss you, Ina!
I had a very cute conversation with my brother about our late gramma. He told me, "Natatakot ka ba sa bahay nila Ina? Ako hindi, siguro kapag nakita ko siya, ihuhug ko pa siya."
I also had the chance to visit Sam's mom. I was there for a while. We looked for Michelle around the cemetery...fail. She was still sleeping in their house. :/ I had so much fun sharing the latest shiz with Sam and company. We even ate chicken skin and chicken pops! Gahd, missed those! haha. hello, cholesterol!

Another first time for me is to join the CJ TEAM BUILDING SEMINAR, which was held in Sitio Lucia (Sta. Maria Bulacan). And twas one hellaaa fuuuuun! Ganon pala ang team building...ANG SAYA! Even if my nose was running so fast and my voice sounded so defective, I still braved the pool and the drizzle just to play base-to-base and ice-ice-water with my colleagues! Bringing childhood back. :)
We also had group games, which were quite challenging cos the twist was to work as a team, and since everybody was competitive, every team really had to think hard, do best to win every game. I belonged to the Ate Ahra's group--the IGLOT/WOLVES team. And we were FOURTH and LAST place. Still, we're happy that we learned a lot of things about team management and most importantly we enjoyed all of the activities together. May bonus pang KitKat!
